Archimedean Screw Turbine now Fully Operational

5th September 2008
Commissioning has taken place at New Mills, Derbyshire and the Archimedean Screw turbine is now fully operational after 6 months of construction by WRE Ltd. http://www.buxtonadvertiser.co.uk/newmills/History-goes-full-circle.4462999.jp 
The completed project can be compared to the original artist’s impression, which was drawn prior to commencement of the construction phase.

New turbine order

3rd September 2008
Following the success of the JLA crossflow turbine at Ugbrooke, WRE Ltd has just placed an order for another, larger machine for a new client in Devon, which will be delivered in April 2009.
